These endorsements were determined by a vote of the membership at our June 21, 2018 meeting. Thank you to everyone who attended the endorsement meeting, and thank you to every candidate who shared their time with us.

June 21 meeting & THANKS: 

Our endorsement meeting for the August 7, 2018 Missouri Primary election is Thursday, June 21st, 7:30 pm in the church basement at St. Margaret of Scotland (39th & Flad). CHILDCARE PROVIDED. 

A BIG THANK YOU to all who attended and all who assisted with and donated to the June 10th Luau fundraiser. We had a good turnout, good food, a pretty setting, and no rainstorm this year. Reminder that we do not meet in July or August.

May 17 and June 21, 2018 - 7:30 pm - 8th Ward Dems meetings - hear from Democratic Primary Election candidates on the August 7, 2018 Missouri primary ballot on both dates. June 21st meeting is our endorsement meeting, when members (per our bylaws) vote on which Democratic candidates to endorse in the primary. CHILDCARE PROVIDED AT BOTH MEETINGS.

Regular meeting of the 8th Ward Independent Democratic Association. CHILDCARE PROVIDED. Our guest speaker will be Michele Hornish, founder of the political action website Small Deeds Done and state project director of It Starts Today.

Meeting minutes 2-15-2018

EWIDA Meeting Date: 2/15/18 Call to Order at 7:35 pm. Chairman Marc Stoff started the meeting by stating that the EWIDA would continue to work for the values it always has, supporting the rights of working people and the poor, and supporting Democrats. Minutes of Previous Meeting were read by Marc Stoff, Chairman. It was moved & seconded to approve the minutes, motion carried. Committeeman Report:Paul Fehler briefly thanked everyone who supported him during his campaign, and stated that he plans to continue to be around for a long time. He then had to leave (sick child).
